It's been an all right day! I'm back and working on some fic. I am currently eating a homemade banana split, getting ready for a night of nothing much. I've been finishing up NCIS and today I introduced ohpeterpan to the wonders of Merlin.

In slightly less fun news, I made a Kevin Jonas sim today but I messed up and returned to the town without creating Nick and Joe. I am going to possibly make some sort of Adam Lambert sim later to cheer myself up.

( A conversation DF and I had about Chris Pine and ZQ a few days ago. )

3. In the spirit of breaking my writer's block, I propose that any and all of you ask me to write something from any fandom you know I like. Give me a prompt and what you want to see.

4. Additionally, would anyone like to beta my bandgirls big bang? It's a West Wing, Commander in Chief type thing focusing on Greta, but revolving to touch many others.

The thing with Panic is that I recognize I can't do anything about it. I respect their decision and look forward to what they do in the future. It seems like they broke up on good terms, so as far as I'm concerned, things are still good.

This isn't the end for fic! If anything, we now have even more possibilities for future fic, long distance relationships, etc. They're growing up, I think, and it's good.

Lol, so I was talking to ohpeterpan about it and I suggested that Ian could join Brendon and Spencer, which would be awesome and really interesting. I dunno, I guess it just makes me feel uncomfortable about writing Panic fic now. I'll get over it, I think. Then again, two of my major in-production projects are Panic centric and heavily depend on them being together. Uhhhhhhhh what should I do???



Happy birthday, bluejbird! You were one of my first friends in bandom and even though you're drifting towards Star Trek (which I totally support), I look forward to having you around.

So I saw a couple movies this week and I would like to comment on them. I'll try not to spoil anything.

1. The Proposal - You know what, I actually didn't want to kill myself while I watched this, mostly because Ryan Reynolds was incredibly compelling and hilarious. Wasn't the greatest film ever - it did seem like a harlequin on film - but hello, great AU potential.

2. Wolverine - Once again, Ryan Reynolds steals the show for me. He's only in it for like two seconds but he's great. Despite bad reviews, I actually enjoyed this because I thought it fleshed out the Wolverine story. It did suffer from too many character syndrome, but hey. It's better than Last Stand.

3. He's Just Not That Into You - uuhhhhh Justin Long, please marry me? He's absolutely delightful in this movie. Too many characters, again, but a decent movie. Scarlett Johansson looks incredible in it.

4. Zach and Miri Make a Porno - This was just plain out-and-out fun. What I loved about it is that they talked like real people. Foul-mouthed and bitchy as they were, they felt real to me. Also, Justin Long's cameo with Brandon Routh was amazing.

5. Wedding Crashers - Oh, what I wouldn't give for some really good Jeremy/John, or a really good AU. I mean, Jeremy sleeps over at John's house on his birthday because his parents died. They've been best friends forever. I just want more of them.

6. Transformers 2 - Holy crap. Uhh, this was super exciting and plain fun. I want some Mikaela/Sam/Leo, or whatever, really. Sam/Leo. Sam/Lennox. Leo/Lennox/Sam. I'M DOWN FOR IT OKAY.


My new computer is being slightly bitchy and I'm not sure why, so I'm doing a virus scan while typing on my old computer. Strange, this is.

This is the real sort of sountrack to Gabi's life, which is why it's awesome. It takes some of the actual songs mentioned in the fic and runs with them, which I think is really great. It enables the reader to hear what she's hearing.

So after I post my bandom big bang tonight (at midnight, since I'm going somewhere early tomorrow), it's pretty much going to be radio silence from me for about a week for three reasons:

1. I'm going on a romantic-type getaway with my boyfriend for a few days
2. and after that we're heading to a family-enforced holiday of sorts
3. and I just got a new computer, so I'll be setting that up. Speaking of which, does anyone have any advice for transferring video games? I don't want to lose my game.

ETA: I will now say something about the wank going around currently. ( They are not particularly ground-breaking, but here are my thoughts )

2. Because of big bangs, I've been mulling over different kinds of fanfic. From what I've observed, there seems to - in general - be plain old entertainment fic and fic you could write an essay on. I'm not saying that one is better than the other because I enjoy both! In bandom, there seems to be more of the former kind of fic, but in other fandoms there seems to be more of the latter. I'm not really sure where I'm going with this so I'll stop while I'm ahead and move onto...
